A Hall of Fame Career: Six Minutes at a Time
by David Frady on August 31, 2011Former NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst Ron Jaworski once said, “The heartbeat of a football team is the quarterback position and I think everyone who has any intelligence about the game understands you must have consistency at that position to be a championship team.” Brett Favre represents one of the greatest, if not the greatest, careers in sports history. Favre holds most of the NFL’s passing records and has more wins (186) than any other quarterback in history. He was the NFL MVP three times and was selected for the Pro-Bowl eleven times. He holds the distinction of having the……
Decades of Success
by Karen Moore on August 24, 2011I am beyond happy to share the exciting news that Inc. Magazine has named Moore Consulting Group to its annual ranking of the 2011 fastest-growing private companies in America. Our firm joins companies such as Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice—in this prestigious roster of companies that are growing, creating jobs and helping to build a stronger community. This honor comes on the heels of Florida Trend naming us, for the second year in a row, as one of the “Best Places to Work in Florida.” I am so proud of these two honors—a fast-growing company that is also……
My Ford Memory
by Fernando Rodriguez on August 20, 2011I love Miami! The architecture styles, the delicious food and the liveliness of its people remind me of my beloved Puerto Rico. During my most recent visit to the “magic city,” as part of Ford Motor Company’s Hispanic marketing efforts, I was able to attend Viernes Culturales (Cultural Friday’s). Held at Calle 8, better known as La Pequeña Habana. Viernes is the place to go to dance under the stars, go gallery hopping or relax sipping Cuban coffee or a mouth-watering mojito. In the middle of it all, two magnificent antique Ford vehicles flanked a 2012 Ford Focus, all part……
Looking forward to Fall
by Ayla Anderson on August 19, 2011Technically, fall season doesn’t start until September 23 and maybe I am jumping the gun with this post, but I am excited. Recent early mornings have alerted my senses to the closeness of fall. This makes me think of tailgating with friends, the same friends who put up with my antics on Sundays when watching my favorite NFL team, the New Orleans Saints. When I read the headlines of the Seminoles being ranked number 5 in the preseason, I get giddy with anticipation of watching well executed plays and cheering at the top of my lungs. The joys of fall……
Engaging the Connected Consumer
by Terrie Ard on August 18, 2011A common question I get asked is “how can I build my brand.” In fact, a good friend that owns Tricon Builders, a local residential and commercial builder, recently called me with some insightful branding questions. So Noel Nash, here are some of your branding answers. When it comes to building a brand, companies need to look no further than social media. In fact, StevensGouldPincus released survey results last week reporting the top reason corporations are turning to social media is for their brand building. This is followed in order by: dialogue with their customer, enhancing reputation, selling products and……
