Brand Ambassadors: Fresh and Credible

Word-of-mouth (WOM) is one of the strongest and most effective forms of marketing. How many times a year do we buy a product or use a service because someone we trust told us how much they liked it? I know I do this countless times. When advertisers choose to use “real” spokespeople in their advertising campaigns, it is an effort to mimic WOM. However, finding the best brand ambassadors to create positive WOM for your campaign is easier said than done. In an article on Mashable.com, the author writes about how to screen ambassadors and speaks to the pros and……

Spring Cleaning

This is the time of year when we all “spring forward” onto the beach, hiking trails and gardening section at Lowes or Home Depot. After March 10, the sun will set around 8:30 p.m. in the Florida panhandle. I look forward to the days when I can jog after work in the daylight, reducing my chance of injury. Looking forward to Fall

Technically, fall season doesn’t start until September 23 and maybe I am jumping the gun with this post, but I am excited. Recent early mornings have alerted my senses to the closeness of fall. The joys of fall……

Recently, I have faced one of those “fork-in-the-road” life decisions. These fork-in-the-road decisions are significant points in our lives when decisions weigh heavier than others because of how the choices presented to us dictate the path in life we choose to take. Common fork-in-the-road decisions include: choosing which college to go to, which job to take after college, whether or not to attend grad school, or whether or not to move across the country to something unfamiliar in search for a change. While these decisions do not dictate the sole path we will take in life, they are the pieces……

New Orleans Saints: The Ultimate Rebranding

It was tough seeing my New Orleans Saints lose to the 7-9 Seattle Seahawks in the NFL playoffs. The city of New Orleans and the team that represents it have defined my childhood and the person I am today. The Saints are not going to go Two Dat, as in winning two Super Bowl Championships, this season. Two Dat is a take from the very famous Who Dat, Who Dat, Who Dat say dey gonna beat ‘dem Saints?! For those of us born a member of the Who Dat Nation, we have always known about the Who Dat chant. For……
