The lyrics may be truer than ever when you think about mixing new and traditional media; this thought struck me right in the eye last week while I was standing in line at a local Starbucks in Tallahassee.……

Travel and New Media

As I look toward next year’s vacation (yes- I’m a big planner), I’m starting to take advantage of all the new technology ready to assist me on how best to spend my hard-earned money on rest and relaxation. I’m determined to visit Europe in 2010 – a sort of personal goal. I’ve been researching travel options such as cruises, strictly-guided tours, loosely-guided tours, carefully planned self travel, and fly by the seat of your pants travel. Building Relationships - Virtually

Ever since I read Malcolm Gladwell’s The Tipping Point, I identified myself as a being a “connector.” As a connector, one of the great benefits of being actively engaged in social networking is the ever-present opportunity to link up with friends, both new and those with whom we have long-time trusted relationships. While he may have thought I would be easy to beat as a rookie (and a female), he underestimated my competitiveness and my plan to incorporate social media into my overall fantasy……

2009 - A Positively Tweet Year

Sometimes in your life you are fortunate to be at the right place at the right time and so it was for me on Twitter in 2009. I began tweeting in March ‘08 to follow @claytonbell during the birth of his daughter Caroline. From the start I was amazed being able to share in the excitement of Caroline’s arrival.  The same same energy and excitement continues and is ignited almost daily in communicating with those whom I now count as some of my closest friends via Twitter: the #PositivePosse. No coincidence, it is only divine intervention through innovation that brings……
