An unwritten policy, Moore Consulting Group regularly allows pets to accompany their owners to work—just as long as they don’t try to answer the phone! Studies have shown that companies allowing pets at work on a regular basis have experienced improvement in employee morale. A study by the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association indicates that having pets in the workplace can create a more productive work environment, lower stress and decrease employee absenteeism. The award is given annually by the chairman to a distinguished board member of his/her choice in recognition of their commitment and service to the organization.Fliger has worked closely with the Lung Association for several years, providing strategic counsel and support for their state and regional media relations, advocacy and collateral development efforts.
