MCG Impact to donate more than $100,000 in communications services annually
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (February 10, 2012) – Moore Consulting Group today announces the establishment of a new program within the award-winning integrated communications firm – MCG Impact. MCG Impact will expand upon the success of the organization’s community efforts such as the popular 10 in 2010 and 11 in 2011 programs and will serve as the pro bono arm of the company.
The firm has helped more than 20 organizations in the past two years and now turns its attention to making an even bigger impact. With MCG Impact, the firm increases its commitment to organizations selected to participate and is driven by causes that employees care about. Each year, four team members are randomly selected to identify a nonprofit to support. From children’s organizations to the arts, the initiative will give non-profits the ability to properly communicate their purpose. By allowing employees to identify groups whose missions speak directly to them, the team will empower these organizations to make an even stronger impact.
The team at MCG share their passions with its new purpose-driven program dedicated to the communities in which staff live, work and play. Four team members select four organizations that are focused on their passions, with $100,000 of pro bono communications efforts committed annually for these selected organizations.
In 2012, Moore Consulting Group team members have chosen to support:
- Honor Flight Tallahassee (selected by Karen Moore, Founder and CEO of MCG)
- Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions
- The Arts at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church
- Big Bend Homeless Coalition
Moore Consulting Group will customize its communications support and services based on the needs of the organization, offering strategic counsel and implementation that will help the nonprofit have an even greater impact in the community. Organizations chosen to participate in MCG Impact will each receive more than $25,000 worth of pro bono communications assistance.
“Moore Consulting Group has been committed to bettering our community since the firm began 20 years ago,” says Karen B. Moore, founder and CEO of the firm. “MCG Impact formalizes our ongoing pledge and allows our employees to pursue their passions for the good of the company and community.”
MCG Impact is Moore Consulting Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, in which employees are empowered to dedicate an unprecedented level of commitment to clients, colleagues and their communities.
