Terrie Glover Ard Honored by the Florida Public Relations Association
April 21, 2011The Florida Public Relations Association Capital Chapter billed its 2011 Image Awards as “An Evening of Royalty,” a fitting theme for an evening capped off with one of Moore Consulting Group’s own receiving the highest honor. Senior Vice President Terrie Ard, APR, CPRC, received the Stanley Tait Professional Award for Service, the Capital Chapter’s highest, most prestigious honor. Terrie received the award for her outstanding and long lasting contributions to FPRA and to the public relations profession.
“Terrie is one of the most skilled public relations professionals I have ever met and this is such a well-deserved honor,” says Karen Moore, founder and CEO of Moore Consulting Group.
The prize honors the spirit, professionalism and leadership of Stanley Tait, award-winning public relations counselor and mentor to many.
Terrie was recognized for her role as mentor to her team at MCG and members of the Capital Chapter, and for service to the Tallahassee community, such as chair of the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Communications Committee, as well as work with several local non-profit organizations. Her role in the success of MCG’s pro bono outreach programs “10 in 2010” and “11 in 2011” was also noted.
The accolades continued throughout the evening, as Moore Consulting Group took home two additional awards:
• Moore Consulting Group’s 10 in 2010 / Award of Distinction
• Ford Motor Co.’s Future of Safety Tour / Image Award
