Today, Breast Cancer Awareness has become a global social movement, but it wasn’t always this way. Today, women now have access to information and support systems, something that wouldn’t be possible without the awareness campaigns that have worked to get people talking about breast cancer.
This summer our intern Katie Plaia was selected to participate in in the Farmer-to-Farmer program organized by US Aid. Farmer-to-Farmer is a governmental program which provides assistance from US volunteers to various agribusinesses and farmers in developing countries.
